Hockey. The Stanley Cup. I'd heard of it, but never watched any of the games. That all changed this past week, however! My friend, Hannah, got me hooked. Her boyfriend's dad is the assistant coach for the Boston Bruins. They were playing a seven-game series against the Vancouver Canucks for the Stanley Cup.
I started watching at Game 5. Both teams had won twice at their home rink. Vancouver won that game, and the Bruins won the next back in Boston. Tonight, the teams played their final game in Vancouver. Tonight, the Bruins won on their opponants' ice!
It was fun to follow the team and get into these hockey games!
Fun Facts: The Bruins have the tallest player in the NHL (6 foot 9) and the youngest playing in the NHL (19 years old)
