Tonight was a service night for small group. We met at a place called Intervol. It's an organization that collects medical supplies that can no longer be used in hospitals for whatever reason, sorts them, and boxes them up to ship to third world countries that can use them. They did a lot when Haiti got hit at the beginning of the year.
I was put to work assembling boxes. I taped together several boxes that were used to collect the supplies. I also helped sort the supplies, taking a guess as to what each item was used for and putting it in it's proper place. Good thing we have some people that work in health care in our group!
Overall, it was a great night of service, and it was neat to think how these medical supplies will bless someone in another country who would otherwise not have access to them.
