I recently picked up a new hobby - I taught myself how to crochet! I got some yarn and hooks for Christmas, and Youtube taught me how it works!
I did quite a number of practice pieces before I finally felt confident in my stitches, and the picture above is one half of my first official project - I made a pair of wrist warmers for a friend's birthday this week! It's a pretty simple project. You crochet several even, straight rows, and then you sew it to itself leaving a hole for your thumb!
I think I'll make a few more wrist warmers for some other friends before I tackle another crocheted creation. If you want to get in on the fun, check out the instructional video here!
