Today for my training I had to run 5 miles - a new record for me! I was exited to run it because I was going to combine my 2 mile loop with a new 3 mile loop. I was running it this morning, and it seemed to be taking forever! I was feeling slow, but I was going on 1 hour and was still not done! I finally finished and decided to clock it to see how far this 5 miles really was. I forgot that my 2 mile loop is a little over 2 miles and the same with my 3 mile loop. That means I ended up running 5.7 miles - nearly 6 miles this morning!! I don't think I was quite ready for that, but now I know I can do it! I would not let myself give up this morning - I ran the whole thing (and was almost late for my appointment afterwards!).
