Today I checked out Mendon Ponds for some hiking. At my old church, we went here for a Harvest Party in the fall, and I've always wanted to go back and hike the trails! Kristen was in town for a friend's wedding, so we decided to explore.
We chose to follow the Swamp Trail...
And this is the bridge over the swap!
When we got back to the nature center, a deer came right near us! He hung around for quite a while...long enough for a couple of pictures!
Mendon Ponds is definitely a place I want to keep in mind for this fall!!
