I spent the weekend with my family visiting Julie in Pittsburgh. She is a sophomore at Waynesburgh University, about an hour south of Pittsburgh. My grandparents joined us as well. We arrived Friday afternoon, got a campus tour, and ate at a local BBQ place. Amy and I spent the night in the dorm with Julie, and the next morning we headed out to explore Pittsburgh! We went to the history and sports museum, then we headed to The Strip for lunch. We also wandered around a public market, getting lots of samples! Then we tried walking to a park by the rivers, but it was blocked off. We made it to the Fort Pitt Museum just as it was closing, so we looked around there for a bit. We oredered pizza on the way back to campus, then played a game. We went to Julie's church in the morning and had lunch in the dining hall. It's always fun to see where people live and get a taste for how they spend their time. It was fun to be all together for the weekend!
