We were at my grandparents' house yesterday to celebrate Christmas. As my grandpa prayed, he used one of his favorite phrases, "Focus Outward."
He has used this phrase for a few years now. As he says it, he does a hand motion similar to the arrows in the picture on the left; he starts with his hands together toward his chest and moves them apart as he moves his hands to point outward. His point is to get you to think about how you can focus on others instead of yourself.
It's a simple phrase, but a great reminder. I challenge you to think about how you can start to focus outward each day.
