Time for Reading Again

It's been a while since I've been able to read for fun! I borrowed another Nicholas Sparks book from a friend, and this one is a favorite! The Wedding is told from the perspective of Wilson, a husband who completely forgot all about his 29th wedding anniversary. He was determined to make their 30th memorable and began planning. His plans were altered when their daughter announced she was getting married and wanted her big day on her parents' anniversary!

As the daughter and wife are planning the wedding, Wilson continues to try and show his wife he really does love her. He decides to celebrate their 30th anniversary a couple days before their daughter's wedding and plans a whole evening together. (Don't read on if you want to read the book yourself and find out what happens in the end.)

The wedding day comes, and the wife is surprised to find out that their daughter is not getting married, but the whole day is for her - the wedding she never had 30th years ago! Wilson had spent the whole past year planning and preparing for this big day! It was kind of a fun twist at the end, and their marriage was strengthened through this act of love.

I have several more books on my reading list and hope to finish another one before heading back to school!
